If you've seen 'Death Race' and liked it, you'll enjoy this. If you've seen this and liked it, you WILL like Death Race, I guarantee you. This features the whole concept of 'death for entertainment' and streaming it live all around the world for greedy money gaining purposes. 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, is, in real life, an ex-WWE wrestler that gained noteriety for being a bit of an idiot, and a tough guy. This kind of movie fits his 'character' perfectly...it's just a pity the big man can't act.
It doesn't seem to register with directors that these showmen, that participate every week in the WWE, just can't cut it with Hollywood, and will consistently put out poor movies, with lame showing numbers. Just look what happend to John Cena and 'The Marine', or Ted DiBiase in it's sequel.
If you read the synopsis for this movie, it will give you the basic idea, and that is all you need to decide whether you are going to spend 1hr 40mins and entertain yourself with 'The Condemned'.
