Kurt Russell starts his run as Dexter Riley in 1969, over a decade before the invention of the PC. Both the premise and resolution lack any basis in reality and the demonstration of the huge unit would be an app today.
But you can;t help but get sucked in by the good-natured Medfield College kids. Dumb Disney fun.
