Review of The Company You Keep (2012) by Dawdlingpoet — 26 Nov 2021
I quite enjoyed this film in terms of seeing things mostly from the criminal/fugitives point of view - him and a junior journalist, rather than purely the authorities point of view. It was relatively gripping during some key scenes and thoughtful in others.
I'd say thematically its about morals and principles and also self reflection. It was an interesting watch I enjoyed and so as a subtle , thought provoking thriller, I'd recommend it. Oh and it has a great cast too - some pretty big names.
