Review of The Company You Keep (2012) by Brice B — 22 Sep 2013
Very good movie that stretches on different themes and plots, without car chases and very few guns.
The cast is globally outstanding (thanks to Robert Redrord's friends who certainly agreed to play almost for free). Only Nick Nolte is overacting (as usual) but all others are perfect.
Some aspects of the movie could have been more emphasized (justification of terrorism, what is a good cause? What's left of the Hippie generation) but Redford would never have found any distributor.
Shia LaBeouf is only starting his serious career by choosing his roles: I'm sure he will become a great actor.
