Review of The Company of Wolves (1984) by Charlie J — 11 Mar 2011
With the incredibly shitty Red Riding Hood (directed by the same chick who brought us Twilight) in theaters now, I thought I would point out a vastly superior film that attempts to illustrate the underlying themes of how frightening budding sexuality can be found within the original fairy tale.
Neil Jordan's, The Company of Wolves. Dark, surreal and disconcerting, this is a highly under appreciated film.
