I like John Wells stuff (ER and West Wing), I like the actors (except for Costner's awful Boston accent he always seems to do) and I liked the location (Boston)... and the topic hits close to home (struggling to support a family).
.. so I thought I would like it more. It was good, but maybe because it was so depressing, I couldn't fully get into it. Tommy Lee Jones was the best part... and also the worst when he went on serious rants.
Can you tell I'm conflicted?
