This film to to "Larry Crowne" what the Harlem Globetrotters are to the Boston Celtics. One is a totally unrealistic and the other is the real deal. "The Company Men" is a far more realistic view of what the economy has done to people in America.
My opinion here is based on the real life experiences I've had in the Workforce world. It's a very dehumanizing experience . . . unfortunately I haven't met and Larry Crowne's who ride around on scooters with hipster college kids and fall in love with Julia Roberts.
Unfortunately, I've run into my fair share of Chris Cooper's.
