Review of The Commuter (2018) by Nitpicker . — 15 Feb 2018
Synopsis.
Liam Neeson has to perform a series of tasks in order to get his family back.
Pros.
- It's watchable.
- Liam Neeson does a good enough job to carry the whole movie on his back.
Cons.
- You've seen this action movie before.
- Wilson and Farmiga together again?
- Everyone in the train crash would be dead.
- A 60 year old is not going to out-fight anybody.
- He would be crushed under the train while escaping.
- Liam Neeson's behavior on the train would alert authorities long before Cold Spring.
- How could they know Jonathan Banks was handed a message in the newspaper?
- A woman clearly pushes Jonathan Banks in front of the bus and the whole crowd with her does nothing? They had to have seen it.
- "We got eyes everywhere" is a very lame convenience.
- Pepper Spray effects lasts longer than 10 seconds.
- Beginning credit scenes feel off-putting.
