Review of The Commuter (2018) by Andre H — 15 Feb 2018
Running on 105 minutes timeline, The Commuter went all-in on the first half of the movie: Gorgeous cinematography and albeit slow but natural storytelling as well as Neeson's character development to the point where you empathize with his daily commute and what he deals with everyday.
Second half, especially after the train crash scene, felt rushed as if they were running out of time and budget to perfect what an already entertaining plot. 3.5 for the moving and additional 0.5 for the charming music scores (I even purchased the soundtrack).
