Pretty sad. As in not good. Its not that it isnt a taut and well paced flick that doesnt entertain you. It does that. The action is spaced out well, they dont waste your time with needless dialogue, and there are elements of mystery that work.

But the overall plot lines are sooooooo tired, so redundant, so unimaginable, so predictable, and so illogical that it borders on stupid. Literally. The conclusion, for the 9000th time, is right out of the progressive, social justice playbook.

..which explains the lack of logic & predictability in outcome. Is that a spoiler? It is if you possess common sense...Sorry. lol Whereas had they been bolder and more cunning in their choice of villains and motives, the movie woulda, coulda, shoulda been 10x better because it had the other elements to succeed.

Meanwhile, next time I'm an FBI agent in communication with & meeting a potential star witness whose life is in danger....I'll have them get on public transit for hours, where they are visible, and have them ride miles out of the city away from my resources and meet in the boondocks.

Or I guess I could just go pick them up!! lol Like I said, stupid.
