Review of The Commuter (2018) by Richard S — 26 Jul 2018
Liam Neeson continues his one man quest to punch and kick and run away from as many people as possible but there is a twist, this time he is on a train! The film starts as he loses his job and on his way home is offered a whole lot of money to identify a passenger on the train and retrieve the package they are carrying.
Our man is sceptical until he finds a whole lot of dosh with his name on it but suspecting this might be a little dodgy he refuses and so the baddies have to threaten the Neeson family to make him carry out their nefarious plans.
He then has a race against time before he reaches the end of the line to find the passenger, work out who the baddies are and save the day. It was actually quite an entertaining film if a little ridiculous and I did love the Spartacus tribute at the end!
