Review of The Comedy of Terrors (1964) by Thomas T — 21 May 2008
This movie is great, especially if you like 60's era horror and sci-fi flicks. It's got Vincent Price as a drunken funeral home director, Basil Rathbone as a Shakespeare quoting stingy landlord, and Peter Lorre as a bumbling undertaker's assistant.
Basically, it took some of the best monster and mystery movie actors of their time and got them all to make fun of themselves. The cat also did a wonderful job. The death scene at the end is really entertaining and not to be missed.
