Review of The Comedy (2012) by Alec B — 07 Dec 2012
The world is not ready for this film. Tim Heidecker makes it his business to disarm cool, apathetic attitudes by portraying what someone really looks like when they hold onto it for dear life, and resist genuine emotion.
You have to take a step back to see the larger context of what he's doing here, but I can understand if someone is not familiar with his humor, of which I have been a fan for years. He's making hipsters look uncool before it was cool.
