Review of The Combination (2009) by Wally W — 30 Sep 2009
This movie definitely impressed me. It's a reflection of racism in Australia (most notably in south-western Sydney), however some parts seem a little contrived. What surprised me the most about this film is how much hate is apparent within it.
I can't remember a movie I've seen where 'hate' has been as prevalent and powerful as it is in The Combination. Some parts of the film are hard to watch because of the utter evil that inhabits some of the characters.
Speaking of the characters, the main ones are developed very craftily, a highlight of the film.
