Everything, from the cinematography to the acting, is stunning and superlative. The original title of this movie is the "Colour of God", which makes much more sense after you've seen the movie.
The main character's faith in God is poignant and touching, and the ending of the movie is perfect given the boy's faith. The main character is extremely endearing. I love his infectious joy and his zest for life.
I also love the way he is so attuned to nature and to the emotions of the people around him, even though he is deprived of his eyesight.
