Review of The Color of Paradise (1999) by Laura ??? F — 02 Apr 2009

I couldn't stop crying while watching this. This movie shows the beauty of God and His earth through the eyes of a blind boy. It shows family love and learning. It shows how the world is both beautiful and strange.

I loved especially the part where the father could hear the sound of a fierce cawing bird and the boy could hear the sweet singing of little birds. It represented how the father was so selfish and caring only about himself and the boy could only see beauty and compassion towards other creatures.

I reccomend this highly.
