One of the best sequels of all time that does what a good sequel should do; better the original.
The original film - The Hustler, saw ?Fast Eddie? make a name for himself by taking on Minnesota Fats and beating him at his best game of pool. This film sees the ageing pool shark/con man, semi retired and half heartedly dealing cheap whiskey, take on a young apprentice named Vince who he feels can squeeze a few last scores out of him on the road.
A great cast, inspired camera work and a thrilling soundtrack make this not only the best movie of its genre for its time but also the best movie of its genre ever.
