Review of The Color of Money (1986) by Reza N — 12 Oct 2007
Two problems with this movie. No. 1 is that it has awful 80s music that does not move the story and I personally believe dates it. No. 2 is Tom Cruise. He is just awful in this film. Paul Newman, however, is a peach and he is brilliant and deserving of his Oscar.
This film can't compare to The Hustler, but it was neat seeing how Fast Eddie aged and to see the full arc of his character.
