Review of The Color of Money (1986) by Johannes H — 03 Jan 2008
Boring. Not credible, which could have been no problem, if it were funny or entertaining, but it really wasn't. There was no climax to the plot, which could have been ok, had there been a good overall feeling to the movie, but still no cigar. The characters could have been more appealing too. This reminds me of the movie White men can't jump: this is less annoying, but also less entertaining. In the end, I don't really prefer either to the other.
I guess I'm not meant for movies that are so purely based on one sport only, since I don't like watching sports in general either.
