Review of The Color of Money (1986) by Lindsay A — 10 May 2008
When I was told that there was a sequel to /The Hustler/, with now-aged Eddie taking young upstart pool shark Tom Cruise under his wing, I thought "wow, that sounds like a really bad movie." But instead of being a cliched, /The Next Karate Kid/ deal, it does justice to the original--not the work of art /The Hustler/ is, but psychologically astute, entertaining, and unpredictable.
