Review of The Collection (2012) by Thomas L — 04 Dec 2012
Although not without it's obvious flaws, The collection is a relatively smart and fun splatter flick. Director Marcus Dunstan clearly adopted the schematic for Aliens in developing the "story" structure, but truth be told.
.. there is virtually no exposition, instead we're rushed right into the bloodletting. Neither this film nor it's predecessor can be defended as quality cinema, but if you enjoy this kind of thing (as I do) than you'll probably go see the next one as well.
