Review of The Collection (2012) by Cade H — 19 May 2013
The Collection was a fairly clever and fun to watch horror flick but it was far to similar to the Saw films to really stand out. Instead of capturing multiple people and having them escape one trap like Jigsaw from the Saw franchise did, this film took place in a giant warehouse filled to the brim with traps and gory ways to whittle down the cast.
It was fairly straight forward and you kind of knew how it would end up but the majority of the "traps" were unique and it made for some tense moments. The film was fun but in the end it was nothing more then an expansion on something else we have seen many times before.
