Review of The Collection (2012) by Richard B — 22 Aug 2013
So I thought the first film, The Collector, was an alright low-budget horror film, but definitely didn't feel it warranted a sequel so I wasn't too excited to see this, but it was a short film and was on Netflix, so I gave it a chance.
It was about what I expected; I liked horror films much more a few years ago and its films like this that made me lose interest in the genre. It's over the top gore, no real plot, and bad acting all mixed together.
Somehow it still kept me interested and I kept watching. I did really like the ending (both films have had solid endings) and the end credits were pretty funny and cool so both of those good features left a decent taste in my mouth and probably made me give it a little better rating than this film really deserved.
