Review of The Cold Light of Day (2012) by Jonathan J — 05 Apr 2012

Too bland, inexplicable and derivative. Henry Cavill's a good (and gorgeous) lead but he's given no real character and no explanation for his 'abilities'. Given its name it's bizarre there are too many irritating day for night shots.

One sequence in particular is difficult to make out because of it. A few flashes of interesting direction can't save what should've been an interesting - if average - story. Instead a simple story becomes hard to follow and feels a lot longer than its 90 minute run time.
