Review of The Cold Light of Day (2012) by Sal M — 13 Sep 2012

I didn't even know this movie existed till I looked up what to see at a local theatre. Needless to say there was no other movie playing that I hadn't already seen or just not interested in seeing.

So I took a chance at this one. Surprisingly it was entertaining. Not a blockbuster. Sort of a sleeper movie. Guess the studio had to fill a contract obligation. It was a take off on the movie "Taken".

Same concept. But it wasn't boring. A little unbelievable and the plot was obvious and the was no be surprise - actually would have been better if Bruce's character came back into the picture at the end, but Hollywood has really poor writers right now.

It's OK for a rainy day at the movies.
