Review of The Cold Light of Day (2012) by Nerissa C — 30 Dec 2012
By Zanele Jiane.
Once again, guns are blazing over a briefcase we have no clue as to what it contains, It happened in Ronin, at least this time, our protagonist is the voice of the audience and asks "what was in the case?".
This is a straight forward kidnapping movie, a CIA agent has to return a case he confiscated to the bad guys or his family is killed, the bad guys realise he is not co-.operating they off him, his son realise he is the only one to rescue his family, takes over from where dad left off. Its very exciting seeing a novice take up pros in the espionage business.
The movie suffers from bad lighting, I could see nothing most of the time in the night scenes, of which are critical to the story, the story is quiet a familiar one and offers nothing distinct from the ordinary, but the movie is entertaining nevertheless.
Recommended.
