Carrack (Sigourney Weaver): Put the gun down, Will. You're scared, and scared people holding guns in my face, that scares me.

Will (Henry Cavill): Well, this is going to be a nerve-wracking conversation.

I should have heeded the rating on Netflix when I saw this being shown for free on HBO but I figured what the heck it was free, it would have save me on the rental cost at least. An hour and a half of my life I could have spent on something worthwhile. Henry Cavill was alright. You can see his potential and the making of a future leading man. Some of the supporting cast were actually decent, plus the story (however ridiculous it was) was nothing different from any formulaic, stereotypical, against-all-odds kind of action flick like "Taken" or "Diehard". But the most disappointing thing about this film was the two seasoned actors (who probably received top billing for this film, not to mention salaries) totally phoned in their performances-- yeah, I'm talking about you Weaver and Willis!!! I mean, Sigourney Weaver wasn't God-awful but this wasn't her best performance, it's pretty sub-par compared to her usual standards of acting. Willis, on the other hand, was completely disconnected; it would be surprising if he even knew the cameras were rolling because it sure as hell looked like he just didn't care. What a truly lazy performance from him, why did he even bother signing on? Anyone one else could have given that kind of lackluster performance and I'm sure there was a lot of truly talented character actors who could have done a hundred times better. What a shallow and pathetic non-attempt from him. So, given the chance, I would never watch this film again and I'd advise other people to skip this one as well because it's so not worth it; this was just a huge waste of an hour and a half of your time.
