The first Marx Brothers movie is not as polished and well crafted as their later work, but to see Margaret Dumont in such embarassing situations always kills me to see more. It still has a lot of good sight gags and crazy situations, but apparently the Brothers were so horrified with the final cut of the movie, they wanted to shelve it.
Good thing they didn't.
