Review of The Cobbler (2014) by Caleb C — 18 Mar 2015

This was something a lot different from what Adam Sandler usually would do, but then you read the storyline here and, I don't think anyone else would have done this role better.Unfortunately, this really great idea for a movie that could have been a lot better becomes forgettable.

There is some good pieces to this work, but it ultimately fails to entertain even if it does have a good heart. Also, this is not a comedy at all as advertised. It's actually surprisingly enough a drama with hints of a crime thriller(though not thrilling at all) with 2 or 3 very dry intended laughing moments.

The positives here were that it was interesting throughout and somewhat nice to look at.
