Incredibly underrated. Not you standard Sandler movie with fart jokes and wild physical humor. There is depth to this story and through it all a redemptive story. A nice set up for a TV show, but a solid movie nonetheless.
I can imagine the people who didn't like thought this would be along the lines of Happy Gilmore instead of just a great film, with great acting.
