Review of The Cobbler (2014) by John O — 16 Jun 2015
I like these kind of Sandler Movies... I would rather see him start taking more serious roles, but this one was alright... better than all the "GrownUps" movies combined. I think there is a theme in some of Sandler's movies (Spanglish, Reign Over Me, Punch Drunk Love) that shed light on the authentic Sandler, and I think this movie also sheds light on that potentially great actor that Adam Sandler can be - the grown up, serious actor, that takes serious roles, and becomes taken more seriously.
