This direct to video release is a subpar entry into the Cloverfield multiverse. After viewing it is clear why it went to Netflix instead of a theatrical release....smart move. I am surprised JJ Abrams left his name on this because the qualty is lacking.
Black Mirror does a much better job at cohesive storing telling.
