Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Shadé P — 04 Feb 2018
Not a bad movie, but not that great. There were some obvious plot holes (Russian's death) and some that just didn't make sense. At times, it seemed like it was going to be an alien movie with all the weird things happening around the ship, but they just coughed it up to the dimensional collision, which makes even less sense.
The characters that died in the most unexplainable ways created the huge plot holes. It's an interesting addition to the Cloverfield Anthology, but it doesn't give off the same umph as the previous ones did.
If youre a fan of the Anthology, you won't might it. It's really not a bad movie, it just leaves you with a lot of questions, that I hope the next installment will answer - or at least attempt to.
