Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Ajwad A — 05 Feb 2018

I was really looking forward to this movie and the SuperBowl drop was amazing. It had a great starting premise but quickly became a hot mess of lazy scifi. I really don't know what happened during production but the final product barely makes any sense.

Based on the editing it is obvious they had bunch of ideas they wanted to explore with the film but lacked an overall plot or theme to actually tie down all the ideas. This is just plain out bad and I hope it gets retconned out of the franchise in the future.
