Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Chris F — 05 Feb 2018

Ok so I thought this movie was fine but that's not what I'm here to talk about. If you hated this movie that's fine, if you loved it that's fine, and if you thought it was ok like me that's also fine.

I can see a case for any reaction to this film, positive or negative. What I hate seeing is people posting things like " critics are whiny babies who are mad they didn't get advance copies", or "Critics hate Netflix movies and are paid to hate them!".

Film critics are not whiny babies who get mad when something changes, or are paid off scumbags who only give good reviews to disney. Looking at the world through that lens is so cynical and ignorant, and I hate seeing people act like that.

Grow up. Your movie isn't being trashed because critics are corrupt crybabies. People have opinions. Sometimes movies aren't good, and people don't like it. Grow up.
