Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Chris L — 05 Feb 2018

The Cloverfield Paradox is excellent science fiction. It has a diverse cast, with great acting and even a little bit of dark humor. I've read many of the negative reviews, with the theme being that it's muddled/confusing and imitative of other genre films.

In fact, it's none of these things. For those who place close attention, allow for a slow build, and don't require an action film mash-up...you will be rewarded with a thoughtful and emotional sci-fi film with tantalizing ties to other films in the "Cloververse".
