Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Ronald M — 05 Feb 2018

This movie, though it might borrow ideas from others, found a way to keep me interested through it all. The acting was amazing and the story is mostly strong. The characters are reasonably fleshed out and their motivations make sense.

There are times where things slow down and moments that just aren't that interesting, but it picks up the pace before it's stuttering moments can detract. All in all this is a good film that has a little bit of something for everyone.

Now is this movie on par with the other Cloverfield movies, maybe it is or maybe it isn't. It's hard to tell with how different they all are in the way they tell their stories. But for me the answer to that question is yes.
