Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Michael E — 06 Feb 2018

I don't know what is wrong with these critics, I think its all sour grapes because they didn't get special treatment and get to pre-screen and advance review and all that. This was an outstanding sci-fi thriller, and regardless of its complicated origins, it fits right in to the Cloverfield universe and answers quite a few questions while posing more of its own.

The cast is mostly top notch, Debicki in particular just has a mesmerizing quality about her. I thought "haven't I seen her before?" then looked it up and oh yeah she was in Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

But yeah. Ignore the tomatometer on this one, if you are a fan of Cloverfield or just good old fashioned "trapped on a space station" type scifi, you won't be disappointed if you give this a watch.
