I rarely agree with critics, and in this case I still don't agree. It's not the best Cloverfield movie but it's part of an ongoing larger story. Gotta think outside the box or boxes in this one.
Consider it a prequel and a sequel to the Cloverfield movie. Next up Cloverfield 4.
