Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Ryan M — 07 Feb 2018
Start off by saying this movie was a great movie, the story was there and plenty of scenes to make you actually wonder how its going to play out. I didn't know what was going to happen, so props to them.
this movie gives a explanation for the over cloverfeild movies although felt it left out 10 cloverfeild lane. yes the explanation is not given 100% but I dont want it yet, I want it carried out into the next movies, we want more from this movie universe.
loved the space station idea and the multi verse smashing theory, its a smart concept for a movie and sadly I think some just dont get it or cant grasp it which sucks cause this movie might get heat for that, but that dosnt make it a bad movie, its exceptional storytelling for what the story needed to tie them together without diluting the source material that got the audience hooked.
seeing that monster destroy new york it wasnt some ridiculous monster, it was something that looked liked it was real and a part of evolution granted on another scale but as a viewer I could actually picture that monster destroying my city.
Then this movie comes with its energy crisis and a super collider in space to generate power but still bring in the actual science of the dangers of what this has on our world and then they smash a hole in the fabric of space and time.
unleashing monsters and supernatural forces. this is something that could actually happen in the real world that what this movie is telling is showing us 'WHAT IF" and thats why this movie is a 10/10 for me and I cant wait to see the next chapter of the cloververse.
