Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Kenneth E — 07 Feb 2018
What the heck, critics. I love the loose connections between the three films. It's fresh and fun. This movie grabbed me early and kept me enthralled throughout. Is it the greatest movie ever made? No.
But these days with the proliferation of BAD movies and TV, much of it passed off as good, this movie is a welcome bit of entertainment. There isn't much, if anything, that's new under the sun, but one truth remains constant in the realm of entertainment: if you tell the story well, it will be worth the time spent watching/listening/reading.
The Cloverfield Paradox is told well enough that it engages the viewer from beginning to end.
