Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Dave V — 07 Feb 2018

The problem with critics now a days is that they dont go to see a movie for what it is. I was entertained by The Cloverfield Paradox. That is the purpose of a movie, correct? Tp entertain? So in my eye the movie did what it set out to do.

Now, down to the nitty gritty.....It left more questions then it answered. That appears to be the direction that everything Cloverfield does. Taking the ball and running with it as follows has left me with this, each Cloverfield movie has taken place in a different Earth timeline.

But all 3 movies can be traced back to the events that happened in this one. With the *spoiler alert* visual of the monster at the end of this movie. There is a slim chance that Cloverfield 1 and 3 can be connected.

That would mean that the monster appeared at a younger age in the original movie, and the events in this movie would explain the size difference. All in all, any future Cloverfield movies better be more on the explaining side (and action side, of course) then on the mystery side.

People need to know what the hell is going on! :).
