Well acted. Dialog was good. I was a little sad there weren't more monsters, but high-level plot was decent. Sadly, the subplots were terrible and distracting. The whole energy crisis backdrop is utterly ridiculous and completely unnecessary -the earth ran out of sun, wind, waves and geothermal heat? Made it hard to suspend disbelief.
The two major twists by character choices toward the end were boring and predictable.
