Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Christopher R — 11 Feb 2018

Instead of being a smart movie based on emerging scientific studies, The Cloverfield Paradox decided to use a tear in space-time as an "anything goes" scenario. Between that and the idea that in 10 years we'll have completely forgotten about renewable energy sources this movie feels like it was suited more to an audience 20 years ago when these issues had a bit more uncertainty around them.
