After a promising start, this third Cloverfield movie decides to rip off every other sci-fi ever made. Drowning in cliches and filled with uninteresting twists and turns, the second half of the movie falls short on actual thrills, putting this outing light years behind the other two films in the Cloverfield trilogy.
