Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Warlock7 — 08 Feb 2018
This is a steaming heap of garbage from the self cognizant arm to the ludicrous conclusions which characters come to based off of seemingly nothing other than ruminating about things while locked in a soundproof medical exam room with only glass walls.
Why does an electrically activated sealant foam react to magnetic fluctuations by reaching out and grabbing someone? Where did all that water come from and why did it wind up where it did? This film simply does not know what it is, other than fundamentally stupid.
Is it a supernatural horror? Is it a sci-fi horror? Is it a comedy? Don't care anymore, it certainly didn't start as a Cloverfield production.
