Review of The Closet (2001) by Francisco F — 13 Aug 2008
It's a lot of fun. Breezy, well paced with a simple clever idea. Bartleby tries to save his job amid downsizing by pretending to be gay - hence they can't fire him in fear of a discrimination suit.
Auteuil pulls off the act with understated confidence until his rouse is exposed by Michele Laroque - can hardly blame him for blowing his cover given the way she looks in this movie.
