Review of The Class (2008) by Sean T — 03 Mar 2009
I originally was not intrigued by this film based on the very vague trailer which left me wondering what the conflict was. I was so pleased that I was "forced" into seeing it because I found it to be very real and very relevant.
It was also interesting to see how "democratic" the school systems are in France as student representatives get to sit in on the teachers meeting when discussing students grades and commendations.
I highly recommend it as something very out of the ordinary. No soundtrack, no special effects.....just raw story and emotions.
