A brilliantly natural and realistic film. The thoroughly documentary-style presentation does lessen the dramatic entertainment level - as with Matteo Garrone's Gomorrah - but this truly deserves the Palme d'Or from Cannes 2008 for its intelligence and fine craftsmanship.
