Review of The Class (2008) by Paul J — 14 Mar 2010
Jesus, what a realistic film this is. Being an Instructor myself, this was at times an incredibly painful film to watch. But once the individual students began to emerge, then the film became impossible to turn off.
I love the way that the characters are all so flawed, while also being so empathetic. There are no easy answers, just the day-to-day trials that everyone faces in high school. Truly brilliant stuff - worthy of the Palm D'or.
